Prior to becoming a full time professional entertainer I used to enjoy a modicum of success as a wood carver. I would spend many an hour carving ducks, fish and shorebirds from driftwood.

Since deciding to take a break from the country music scene I have recently begun to immerse myself back into my wood carving.

Over the last few months I have made a large number of different items, I have made many ducks and fish, mirrors and clocks all out of driftwood.

I have begun to sell my items at local art shops and galleries. I have also had a few exhibitions at local art shows.

So, working alone in my shed, I carve and create these things from bits of wood and things are really going well, my work sold quite well before Christmas and is continuing to do so.
